The food is amazing. I got a sandwich and it was pretty filling. The service is really good as well and everyone is so friendly even the customers. The ambiance was my favourite part it’s super aesthetic here. They have free wifi so it’s a great place to study will definitely be coming back.
my favorite place to work from in ottawa, to take a coffee or brunch ! really cute patio and inside, with many plugs and a stable wifi. dogs accepted (there were even a special welcoming for them !) and many vegan options (wraps and desserts) !!
Good place to chill out. The vibe of this place is so nice with a great ambiance. Food is delicious. The staff is friendly. Will definitely go there with friends.
What a beautiful vibe, we walked in while they had live Jazz music playing. Drinks were decent, we tried the hibiscus margarita and the lavender old fashioned.
The only cafe I know in town that stays open till midnight. Not much options on food, but has a blend of both rustic and contemporary ambiance to it, iconic in fact. For this reason the staff have to put extra care to avoid perceived just old and unhygienic.
I only had a couple of drinks, one of which is their chair latte, so I can't comment on their food. The place is always bustling and busy. It's not always easy to find a seat. Customer service and friendliness is excellent. Involved in the community. Safe and clean space. Clean washroom. Support community events and fundraisers. Nice space for the open mic events they hold weekly. Not fair for me to give 5 stars as I haven't tried food/baked goods. Thanks Art House for this lovely space and inspires creativity.
Local hangout for simple and cheap drink and food…… this is an old house converted to cafe house hence interior spaces are connected small rooms but cozy and friendly. However, if you are looking for a large space, modern and chic place, this is definitely not it.
Probably not another code house holds such a lay back ambiance ….. the walls are footed with collection of art works from local artists and furnitures are mix match a little bit of everything …..
They host an array of different events , from open mic, life drawing, live bands to discussion groups….. there is always something happening at this place every day of the week.
Drinks are cheap/ reasonably priced …… no table service but the bar is friendly and quick to serve.
It was a bit too hot that day so I wasn’t having a very good time, and I was stressed out over a deadline I was working on while being there as well. The only photo I took of the place was the wifi password lol and I don’t even remember what my bagel tasted like. But the friendly staff were the star of this place. I got to play on the piano as well, and the sound produced by the instrument was fantastic.
